Yes. DPG strives to provide a solution for all our products that our customers would like to customise.  Whilst it’s not always possible, most of our products can be made to the customers’ requirements. All our on-desk power modules are made in-house, which gives us the advantage of customising.

dpg-formfittings has a wide range of on-desk and under-desk power, data, and USB charging modules. Many of these products are customisable to suit your needs.

  • On-desk – Sits on the worksurface and is affixed with either a clamp (allowing the module to be relocated easily) or double-sided adhesive strips.
  • Under-desk – The module either sits ‘in’ the desk, like a standard conference box or is fixed under the desk.

This dedicated plug-and-play wiring system makes re-configuration of power wiring easy to manage and reusable, making office relocation more affordable. Rated at 20amp, a licenced electrician is required to wire a wall starter or ceiling starter to the building’s electrical services. Once installed, it’s a simple plug-and-play system with an electrician required to test and sign off on completion.

Generally, softwiring is specific to the supplier and their products and incompatible with other soft wire systems. dpg-formfittings does, however, have a solution that allows compatibility.  Send us a message via our contact us page and we will be more than happy to discuss.

Unfortunately, we do not offer an installation service. However, we can put you in contact with one of our many preferred installers in every state.

We generally request your plans when quoting to ensure all that is needed has been included. However, don’t hesitate to contact us; one of our friendly staff will be more than happy to suggest the best softwiring & cable management solution for your office fitout.

A power board is classed as an EPOD-Electrical portable outlet device and must comply with AS/NZS3105 Approval and test specification. This option should not be cascaded and is not good electrical practice.

Generally, under AS/NZS3000 Electrical Standard, it is recommended that 16 is the maximum number of outlets to have on one circuit.

All our products can be supplied with a technical drawing.  We have included many of our technical drawings online under the ‘PDF’ tab. However, please contact us if it is not included or needs something more specific.

All our electrical products are tested & certified to AU/NZS standards.  Certificates of compliance are available upon request.

We use a variety of couriers to supply the cheapest freight cost possible, some of these are FedEx, Aramex, Australia Post & Couriers Please.

Generally, we will obtain a freight quote when receiving a purchase order.  You will then receive an order confirmation with the freight cost included.

You will receive a shipping confirmation and tracking number directly from the shipping company, which will keep you updated. Please contact us if you need any additional information regarding the status of your order.

We can offer local delivery and in-store pick-up at no additional fee.

We can deliver to P.O. boxes for smaller items using Australia Post only.

Yes, we regularly ship our products internationally. Please get in touch with us for a quote.

We can offer shipping insurance; however, this will carry an additional freight charge. Please let us know at the time of order so that we can obtain a quote.

dpg-formfittings will only accept returns when the following conditions are met*:

  1. The goods have a demonstratable manufacturing fault
  2. “change of mind” return
    • Only within 14 days of purchase
    • Only if the product is unused
    • May attract a 15%-20% restocking fee at our discretion
    • Shipping costs will not be refunded

All our products are warranted for 1 year. If you require a more extended warranty, please do contact us to discuss.  You can review the full policy below:

WARRANTY STATEMENT

dpg-formfittings agrees to replace any defective part which under proper use and in accordance with assembly instructions issued by dpg-formfittings, within a period of (12) twelve months from the date of purchase, providing that:

  1. dpg-formfittings is promptly notified in writing of any alleged defect by the purchaser, stating date and place of purchase.
  2. The defective goods are returned to dpg-formfittings at the purchaser’s expense.
  3. dpg-formfittings authorised representatives have performed any repairs or alterations to goods.
  4. The defects are not due to normal wear and tear, improper installation, or negligently damaged or have been subject to operating or environmental conditions contrary to application specifications.

If any of the conditions above are not satisfied at any time, the warranty provided will be invalidated and of no effect.

dpg-formfittings is not responsible for consequential or implied damages. This warranty is in addition to any rights accruing under the Trade Practices Act.

Not withstanding the warranty statement above replacement parts are available from dpg-formfittings and other distributors that may be appointed.

Yes, dpg-formfittings strives to recycle all items where possible.  Examples where we put the environment first:

  1. All our cardboard boxes are either reused or recycled.  They may not always look the greatest, but we are trying to do our part of the environment.
  2. All products are stripped and recycled where possible.
  3. We are gradually phasing out the use of single-use plastic where possible from our warehouse.

Yes, dpg-formfittings is committed to a ‘whole of life’ approach to our products which are returned to us at the end of their useful life. Products will be accepted at no cost to the customer (freight excluded) when returned to dpg-formfittings.   These products will not be sent to landfill and will either be re-used or recycled. All products are assessed for re-use, or disassembled and forwarded to a suitable recycling facility.
