Shipping Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions:

dpg-formfittings Pty Ltd

Will be abbreviated to ‘DPG’ throughout this document.

Processing time:

Processing time is the time it takes to process your order before leaving DPG’s warehouse.

This time is dependent on whether your item(s) is a straightforward stock item or a customisable item, which may take time to manufacture, as well as the quantities required. It is also dependant on situations that DPG may not necessarily have control over – e.g., supplier challenges, freight and Customs processing.

Shipping time:

This is the time it takes from leaving DPG’s warehouse to arriving at the customer’s specified address.

Standard Business Hours:

Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm, excluding public holidays.

DPG’s Business Hours:

Monday to Thursday – 7:30am to 3:30pm
Friday – 7:30am – 2pm
Monday to Thursday – 7:30am to 5pm
Friday – 7:30am – 3pm

Stocked Items:

Items kept in stock and don’t require a ‘build’ as required with customised products.

2. Processing Time:

DPG requests that a due date is included with each order placed. This will allow work to be reassigned and prioritised accordingly.

For stocked items – If the order is received before 12pm DPG will aim to process the same day, otherwise it will be dispatched the following day. If we are unable to fulfill the order, we will be in contact as soon as possible.

For custom built items – upon the order being placed DPG will send an ‘Order Confirmation’ which will specify the estimated despatch date

3. Shipping Companies

DPG utilises TNT (FedEx) for most of their orders.

Where items are (1) not urgent, (2) smaller in size, (3) being sent to a residential address or (4) the customer is happy to utilise, DPG recommends AusPost Standard or AusPost Express.

DPG are also happy to use a shipping company of your choice or happy for the customer to book the item out and send the con note and shipping label to affix. Dimensions and weight will be provided upon request.

4. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges will be calculated at the time of ordering and will be included in the ‘Order Confirmation’ to be emailed to the customer for review.

In some instances, DPG may obtain several quotes from other freight companies to make sure that the cost is kept to a minimum.

DPG may need to pass on any unforeseen charges by the shipping company, to the customer – e.g., re-delivery due to no one being present during standard business hours, redirection or change of mind. Each situation will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

5. In-Store Pick-Up and Local Delivery

DPG does offer in-store pick-up and local delivery within Coffs Harbour and within DPG’s business hours.

Once the order has been completed, DPG will be in contract with you to arrange a time for in-store pick-up or local delivery.

Please advise at the time of placing your order should you require this service.

6. International Shipping

DPG does offer international shipping. Please provide details at time of placing the order.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. DPG is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are the responsibility of the customer.

7. How do I check the status of my order

When your order has shipped, you should receive an email notification direct from the shipping company. This will include the tracking number that can be used to check the status.

If you have not received the above tracking details, please do call DPG and they will be able to provide you with an update.

Please be advised that DPG has no control over the ETA once the goods have left the warehouse, however, DPG are happy to assist with chasing the shipping company if items are delayed past the original ETA provided.

8. Shipping to P.O. Boxes

Unfortunately, many shipping companies have limitations regarding shipping to P.O. Boxes.

If the package is small, DPG may be able to use Australia Post to ship to a P.O. Box.

9. Returns

DPG will only accept returns when the following conditions are met (errors and omissions excepted):

1) The goods have a demonstrable manufacturing fault

2) “Change of Mind” refund:

  • Only within 14 days of delivery
  • Only if the product is unused and in its original condition.
  • Only when accompanied by a valid tax invoice
  • May attract a 15% restocking fee at DPG’s discretion
  • Shipping costs will not be refunded

10. Insurance

DPG will not be responsible for any loss and/or damage in transit, however we do ensure that adequate packing and protection of goods is adhered to.

Insurance can be provided by the shipping companies utilised by DPG. This will incur an additional cost which is to be paid for by the customer.
